Jose Marquez

Jose Marquez is a Peruvian Attorney who was born in the city of Cuzco, Peru. He graduated from San Marcos Law School, one of the most prestigious universities in South America.  Jose and his wife, Carmen, moved to Utah where he received his Master of Law (LLM) from Brigham Young University in 1996. Jose has worked for some of the most prestigious Law Firms in the State of Utah. Jose has been involved in serving the Latino Community in the State. He was responsible for managing the Immigrant Center for the LDS church and promoted the Free Legal Clinic for people with low incomes. Jose especially helped the Latino Community to navigate through intricate processes in personal injury cases. Jose is bilingual (Native Spanish speaking) and takes the time to listen and understand clients to explain their different options with clarity and wisdom.

Jose and his wife Carmen have three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, painting, and writing poetry as his favorite hobbies.

Carmen Marquez

Carmen Marquez was born in the town of Chimbote, Peru. She has over 10 years of experience as a paralegal and personal assistant. Carmen is bilingual (Spanish & English). Her passion is helping Latino clients. She has a particular ability to relate to clients establishing a warm and personal empathy for them. She enjoys personally communicating with clients and guiding them through the intricate personal injury process.

 

When she is not at work Carmen enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
