Jonathon (Jon) joined the team at Farr Cragun & Berube, P.C. in 2022 as an Associate Attorney. Through experience, Jon understands the complicated nature of familial circumstances and specializes in addressing issues surrounding separation/divorce, including but not limited to legal separation, the division of marital assets, and the allocation of parental responsibilities. Jon also has a passion for assisting his clients in preparing an estate plan narrowly focused on achieving their goals while addressing potential unforeseen circumstances that may arise in the distribution of their estate.

 

As a native of the Pacific Northwest, Jon received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law wherein he participated in the Frohnmayer Leadership and Wills for the Underserved programs. Additionally, while in Oregon, Jon was privileged with the opportunity of working for the first federal Muslim judge, the Honorable Mustafa T. Kasubhia.  In doing so, Jon was able to acquire meaningful legal experience while cultivating an invaluable understanding of the inner-working of the justice system—on top of establishing lifelong friendships.

 

In his free time, Jon enjoys all things outdoors including hiking, camping, and generally being active. Historically, Jon has particularly enjoyed playing soccer and skateboarding; however, more recently Jon has learned to treasure a simple quiet night at home with his wife and daughter playing games or watching a movie together.
